Rutter Welding

Very happy to get this set of espresso spoons finished up and off to my customer in Montana for her coffee shop. These were a fun endeavor. I have rarely made spoons this small, and also was a larger count in the set than usual, 15 total. They were made to the customer’s specifications. I like how the round taper down the handles gives the spoon a dainty, yet sturdy feel. The heads were cupped slightly, but not too much, to allow them to be good stirring spoons. I would definitely make this style of spoon again, perhaps with a slightly longer handle. I may end up adding this as a stock item in my shop, so they are readily available to order.
