Kentucky State University temporarily closed its main campus in Frankfort, Kentucky, on Thursday, May 28, and will remain virtual for the rest of the day after a “potential threat to campus safety,” according to a campus safety notice.

The university issued a BRED ALERT instructing students, faculty and staff to leave campus “immediately and calmly unless otherwise directed by law enforcement or University officials.”
