Central Kentucky Riding for Hope
Central Kentucky Riding for Hope (CKRH) is a multi-faceted organization dedicated to improving the quality of life and health of children and adults with special physical, cognitive, emotional and social needs through therapeutic activities with horses. Equine assisted activities and therapies provide independence, achievement and community to the individuals that we serve.
Our first summer horse camp is officially in the books, and it was an unforgettable week of fun. Campers cantered through the arena on pool noodle horses, tackled horse‑themed obstacle courses, made refreshing horse popsicles, explored the property during scavenger hunts, created colorful tie‑dye shirts, and spent tons of hands‑on time grooming our horses.
So if you didn’t make it to the June camp and are searching for summer camps in Lexington that offer outdoor activities, horse experiences, and creative projects, this is the place to be.
Reminder: Our July horse camps still have openings, but registration closes July 1st.
