There are several opportunities in Lexington County to celebrate Independence Day and the 250th anniversary of the birth of our country. The Town of Lexington is holding an Independence Day celebration on July 3rd at the Icehouse Amphitheater from 6 pm to 10 pm and the Town of Batesburg-Leesville is holding an Independence Day celebration on July 3rd from 4 pm to 9 pm. Batesburg-Leesville's celebration will also celebrate the 150th anniversaries of the incorporation of the towns of Batesburg and Leesville. The museum will have tables at both events. And of course, we couldn't forget about the annual Peach Festival in Gilbert.
