Happy Anniversary, Tommy Gandolfo!

In 2007, Tommy Gandolfo joined our team with a one year commitment. Today, he celebrates nineteen years with Team Lexington! We’re so glad he decided to stay!

Tommy, a London Kentucky native, started his extensive career in 1982. He acquired his first dealership (Pontiac, Cadillac, Nissan) in 1984 in Danville, Kentucky. From there, he expanded his portfolio to include KIA, Chevrolet, Chrysler, FORD, and Lincoln franchises.

Tommy has also served two terms on the Kentucky Motor Vehicle Commission.

Retiring at 65, Tommy decided to join our team. He brought with him his vast industry knowledge, dedication to excellence, and myriad of professional relationships.

General Sales Manager, Luke Honaker says “I tell Tommy this all the time and I'll keep saying it - I wouldn't be where I am today without the daily guidance and mentorship from Tommy G. I'll take it a step farther and say this as well - ADESA Lexington wouldn't be where we are today without Tommy G in our corner. Tommy is a special person that makes everyone feel welcome when they come through the doors. We are blessed to have him!”

Aside from his love of the car business and the many friends he’s made over the years, Tommy is passionate about the horse industry. However, he’ll quickly tell you that his family is his first priority.
When not at work, you can find him spending quality time with his family or enjoying University of Kentucky sports.

Happy Anniversary, Jeff Villanacci!

It’s been four years since Boynton Beach, Florida native, Jeff Villanacci, brought his sunny disposition to our team. Since then, he’s proven himself an invaluable asset. His teamwork mentality and willingness to step-up in challenging situations, are only a few of the traits that make him an integral part of our success. Jeff's background as a professional mechanic has provided a level of mechanical insight that distinguishes him as a top performer in his current role.

Lot Operations Manager, Lena Gardner, says “Jeff is such a great team player. Not only is he knowledgeable when it comes to inspecting cars and finding structural damage, but he's a veritable swiss army knife of an inspector. Need help swapping out batteries or tires? He's your guy. Light maintenance work? He volunteers. He has a fantastic attitude and gets along with everyone. He's the best, and we're lucky to have him on the team.”

An automotive aficionado, it’s no surprise that, when asked what he enjoys most about his position, Jeff says “I love working with and around cars.”

His great attitude and easy-going demeanor can be best understood once you learn of his personal mantra: “However bad life may seem, there is always something you can do and succeed at. Where there’s life, there’s hope.”
