General information
Simply put, S3D will solicit projects that can be re-engineered as follows:
Using the information gathered in the due diligence phase of an assessment, the Social Sector Process Re-engineering (SSPR) team will develop an "as is" model. Using the "as is" model and information on performance-driven businesses in the public and private sectors, the SSPR team will develop a "to be" model that shows how improvements can be made. The "to be" model will be shared with outreach and local staff in scheduled meetings. From that model, a change management plan will be developed detailing incremental implementation changes to conform to the "to be" model to achieve improvements in customer service, performance, quality and cost.
The deliverables may include:
-"As is" discovery and identification of quick wins
Documentation of baseline costs
-"As is" documentation
-Identification of best practices
-Definition of high-level "to be" business model
-Design of detailed business processes in the "to be" model
-Change management plan
-Change management implementation plan
-Training in financial discipline appropriate to Social Sector activities.
