LexSEPTA is hosting the 2026 Resource Fair, connecting families of children with special needs to organizations that support them.

We are inviting therapy providers, advocacy organizations, camps, schools, and service providers to host vendor tables.

Lexington SEPTA (LexSEPTA) invites families to a hybrid workshop on legal and financial planning for families of individuals with disabilities.
This session is designed to help families understand the steps they can takeโ€”at any stageโ€”to plan for their childโ€™s long-term future while protecting access to important public benefits.

๐Ÿ“ฃ Upcoming Transition Planning Workshops โ€“ January 2026

Lexington Public Schools is launching a series of transition planning workshops to support families as students prepare for the move from adolescence to adulthood.

These sessions will share valuable information, resources, and guidance around transition-age planning, adult services, employment supports, and independent living โ€” with time built in for Q&A.

๐Ÿ—“ First two workshops in the series:

๐Ÿ”น Friday, January 16 (Virtual)
A conversation with MassAbility and Northeast Independent Living Program, focused on vocational supports, Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS), and resources for transition-age youth and young adults.

๐Ÿ”น Thursday, January 29 (In Person)
An informational session on the Department of Developmental Services (DDS), covering eligibility, youth and adult services, the 688 process, and supports for families planning for adulthood.

๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ‘งโ€๐Ÿ‘ฆ These sessions are especially relevant for families of middle school, high school, and transition-age students, but all LPS families are welcome.
