Proud to share some big news!

Vision-Aid and AIIMS have signed a landmark five-year partnership to fight blindness, and transform care for children with visual impairment across Delhi NCR.

Three pillars of this collaboration:

🔹 Project DRISHTI — 10 Integrated Vision Centres bringing eye care to a targe population of 500,000+ people in Delhi/NCR, with 120,000 beneficiaries served over five years.

🔹 Project SATHI — Hundreds of AI-powered Smart Vision Glasses and assistive devices for the visually impaired

🔹 The Vision-Aid Sarla Dayal CVI Resource Center — a first-of-its-kind facility at AIIMS for children with Cerebral Visual Impairment, the leading cause of childhood blindness in India.

Told through the eyes of a remorseful British Colonel, this is the saga of the Marudhu Brothers and Queen Velu Nachiar—warriors who trained the first women’s army and fought with unshakable honor against colonial rule.

From Kathak to high-energy folk dances, Ballroom dancing and Bharatanatyam, get ready for a production that ignites pride and remembrance.

🤝 Strengthening Vision Rehabilitation Through Partnership

Vision-Aid is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Sankara Eye Hospital, Bengaluru, marking a significant step towards expanding access to vision rehabilitation services, low vision care, assistive technology, and capacity-building opportunities for persons with visual impairment.

This collaboration will focus on enhancing rehabilitation services, increasing access to assistive devices and low vision aids, promoting outreach and awareness initiatives, and facilitating online learning and advanced training programs.

Together, we are committed to creating a more inclusive future where individuals with visual impairment can lead independent, productive, and dignified lives.
