NECR Beagle Rescue
Beagles are abandoned in shelters in many parts of the country because they have very little value as pets. They are kept outside in pens and some do not even have names! They are often surrendered after rabbit hunting season is over or if as a young pup they do not prove themselves to be good trackers. Like all shelter dogs, they become stray after wondering off, as well as fall victim to changes

Meet Pip! He's a little Beagle puppy that came to NECR last weekend as an owner surrender from a family that just had too many dogs. Pip is 4-5 months old and currently weighs 20 lbs. He's going to be a big Beagle and might have some hound mixed in. Pip has a delightful personality and has lived with dogs, cats, and other kids. He's well socialized and engages easily with new people and new dogs. He's curious, playful and non-stop - unless he's asleep! Pip is in Massachusetts and we are accepting applications.
