HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO ME! I've now been in private practice doing bodywork for 25 years. I love what I do and I am deeply grateful for all the people who trust me to be a part of their self care.

Sigh, a classic example of someone having an idea without a full understanding of what they're doing. I just saw an ad for a device that puts a swinging platform under your desk to put your feet on. The idea is that you're swinging your feet around all day and burning calories. But, of course, the device takes away the base of support from your feet, basically forcing people to roll back into a slouching position. Try it- how hard is it to stay in an upright posture when you lift both feet off the floor?
