LEXDANCE Again

This Sunday, March 22, 2026, please join us in welcoming Aaron Mabson who will be teaching us the Blues, a dance that originated in the early 1900's, developed alongside blues music. It's a living art form that continues to evolve today. Aaron is a man of many talents and jobs - working at the University of Kentucky, Esporta, and more. Besides working and dance, Aaron loves his family and chess. His chill style for teaching, especially the Blues is very popular. Aaron helps us understand that dance is the music and the communication between the dancers; the movements they perform are just the steps used to share the emotion and beauty of the dance with us.

Everyone is welcome. Singles, Couples, Beginners to Pro.

What to expect:
Doors open at 6:00 and the lesson begins at 6:30. Dancing follows the lesson. DJ Dave will have the music going so come early and get some extra practice time on the floor.

Where: Barbara Ann's School of Dance (across from Joella's Hot Chicken). 898 E, High Street, Lexington, KY 40502. Free parking is available behind the studio.

Entry: $5.00 for adults, 3:00 for minors.
If you arrive after 7:30, please bring exact change or a credit card.
