Thoughts.

1. Train in private, grind in private and excel in public.

2. Private discipline will manifest public glory.

3. Reputation is what people think you are but characte is what you are when no one is watching.

4. Instant gratification is killing our mentality, grind, work ethic. We need more delayed gratification.

5. If there are no consequences for failure to obedience and expectations then character will not change.

6. Parents are to busy suggesting what their kids need to do and not actually setting boundaries, guidelines and expectations. If you ask your child why they feel so entitled or spoiled and their response is you raised me. He/she just gave you the answer to the issue...YOU

7. We need less kowtowing to feelings and start demanding excellence, merit, ability and we can still be compassionate but demand that you will show up on time, you will do what you are told and you are not as special as you think you are.

8. Your child needs to learn that the earth revolves around the sun and not them. As a christian the sun revolves around the SON NOT THEM.

9. Your priorities will be exposed by how you spend your time. If you say your priority is God but spend no time with him that is a lie. You say your priority is your spouse but every waking moment is with the kids or always at work then they are not a priority.

10. You get out of life what you expect out of life. LIFE HAPPENS FOR YOU NOT TO YOU.

We must be willing to honor one another even in the midst of our mistakes. What happens when respect has been eroded? It’s the same for when love had eroded — we work together to rebuild.
