Thor The Dane

We've got a great update on our friend Thor!! We saw Thor earlier this year after he suffered a hypoxic brain injury under anesthesia at a different facility and came to our ER for immediate treatment. Our Neurologist, Dr. Bohn, and ER team began helping Thor by providing supportive care and medications to help start his recovery process. We are happy to report that Dr. Bohn saw Thor for a recheck recently and he is seizure free and has regained his vision! We are incredibly happy for our sweet boy Thor!!

Luna came home today! I am so excited, but my mom says I have to calm down a little and play easy with her because she is still smaller than me.

I got my ears reposted by my mom and Alexa Skladany. My ears are still a little floppy so we have to keep posting. I am usually very wiggly but I sat still this time because I was sleepy. They did a good job and decorated them with colored tape too!

My human mom took my posting down because I accidentally tore the bridge. Look how tall my ears are!

I am getting a lot better Dr. Bohn and the nurse were great!

We are so happy that our friend Thor the Great Dane puppy is ok! Thor presented to our ER after he went into cardiac arrest while under anesthesia at a different facility. Thor was hypotensive on arrival with severe cerebellar and diffuse intracranial signs. Our Neurologist, Dr. Bohn, and ER team were happy to help Thor by providing supportive care and medications to help begin his recovery process. We saw Thor again this week for a recheck and are happy to report that he is feeling much better and doing great on his treatment plan. We're so proud of Thor!
