Well 2026 has arrived. Our goal is to have at least 1 dealer in every State that cares about doing security film the correct way.

This doesn't always mean it has to be ZSecure.

It does mean that if you are going to be anchoring doors that have a daylight film application you will have to meet specifications set by the manufacturers of the film, not what is stated by the architects.
Architects are not allowed to supercede a manufacturers specifications.

THE USE OF ANY STRUCTURAL SILICONE DOESN’T MEET SPECIFICATIONS ON THE MAJORITY OF COMMERCIAL DOORS

We will be doing inspections at as many school system as possible this year.

ZSecure is a Paradigm Shift product. Recently there are so many new people in the window film business especially in the security film sector.
The use of silicone on most commercial doors as an anchoring system doesn't meet the film manufacturers specifications, nor is it attractive. The worst part is it will fail to keep an intruder out. The whole reason security film has been mandated and specified.

Why does this occur? The following is not in any particular order.

1) State mandates that need more clarification.
2) Lack of transparency from the window film industry
3) Arrogance from quite a few.
4) Ignorance from many.
5) Greed (refer to #3)
6) Cut and paste when it comes to specs
7) That's good enough attitude without knowing the facts.
8) The Ostrich Syndrome

IWFA Show was a huge success. I wish I had more time to go visit the other vendors. We made some new friends and educated so many more on proper anchoring systems for doors.
My personal highlight was to finally meet Tommy Silva who I have been following before social media. His journey was similar to mine at the beginning of our careers.
We also got to hang a bit with Cedro Rodriguez.
