Domestic violence and stalking affect men and women of all ages, ethnicities, cultures, religions, sexual orientations, educational backgrounds and income levels.
An estimated 1.3 million women and 835,000 men are physically assaulted by an intimate partner annually in the United States. Approximately 3.4 million people over the age of 18 are stalked every year. 71% of pet owners entering domestic violence shelters report that their batterer had threatened, injured or killed family pets.
These issues have a profound effect on the victims, their loved ones and the community as a whole. It is our goal to share, inform, empower and create the expectation of healthy relationships.
