At Christian Community Action, we believe every person is created with dignity and value. As we reflect on this important day in our nation's history, we celebrate the progress that has been made and recognize the work that continues as we strive to build stronger, more compassionate communities for all.

In observance of Juneteenth, CCA will be closed on Friday, June 19.
We join our community in celebrating freedom for all and honoring the generations whose courage and perseverance helped shape a better future.

That's why CCA's Back to School program goes beyond providing supplies. Through Old Navy gift card donations, children get the opportunity to shop for their own school clothes, choose items they love, and begin the year with confidence.
For a child, a new outfit can mean more than clothing. It can mean walking into the classroom without worrying about fitting in. It can mean feeling proud, prepared, and ready to learn.

For many local families, preparing for a new school year means making difficult choices between paying bills and purchasing school essentials. Through CCA's Back to School program, children receive backpacks, school supplies, and a shopping experience at Old Navy that helps them walk into the classroom feeling prepared, included, and ready to succeed.

This year, our goal is to serve 500 children, but we can't do it without your help.

Because of your generosity, lives were changed across our community in May. ❤️
In just one month, 32 families stayed safely housed, 20 more families remained stable through utility assistance, and hundreds of neighbors received support, encouragement, food, counseling, and hope through CCA.
Here’s what your support made possible in May 2026:
• 821 families visited the CCA Food Market
• 175,959 meals were provided
• 211,151 pounds of food were distributed
• 80 counseling sessions brought healing and encouragement
• 63 neighbors were prayed with
• 180 lunches were served to seniors
• 86 transportation vouchers helped seniors access vital services
• 24 students completed budgeting classes
• 36 students participated in ESL classes
• 20 neighbors actively worked with job coaches toward employment goals
Every number represents a person, a family, a story, and a reminder that hope grows when a community comes together.
