Attempts to “put Christ first” fall short of the true Gospel message. Christ is not a part of your life or a priority within your life. There is a much deeper truth—Christ IS your life.

This means Christ is everything that matters to you. You are in Christ, and He is in you. You are born of God, born of the Spirit. If you were cut open on a spiritual operating table, it would be obvious to all onlookers that the very essence of who you are is now united with Christ. Christ is your life!
