e in a digital world with access to an almost infinite archive of images and information. Additionally an image, feeling or impression from my life, or from my imagination might be the inspiration to begin a work of art. My art making process is usually a technically simple process, a brush of some kind, black ink of good quality, a stack of new paper, a quiet empty space (& mind). I see faces everywhere, reflections of some subtle reality that I get glimpses of, and maybe a hint or reminder that the whole world around me is alive and looking back at me.
