My name is Matthew Campbell, and I have over eight years of experience with home repairs and renovations on both new construction homes and homes over 100 years old. Having two young children myself, I am well aware of the risks that some elements of home repair and renovation can pose on the family, especially homes containing lead paint. Along side quality and professionalism.

A "simple" wall for an exhibit at the Maine State Museum. It was fun to be part of the museum's mad dash to open in October. I'll be back to help out with a few other items.

My office for the next few days. Helping out at the Maine State Museum by building exhibit walls. A nice change of pace.

Started this project earlier in December. Converting an old garage into an Accessory Dwelling Unit.

Once I started tearing into it, the project expanded a bit. I ended up having to take out all the original flooring, joists, and support beam because of extensive rot. Put in a new beam, post, and joists. Started a passive radon system after the floor in the basement was leveled. Laid subflooring and framed up walls. It's really coming along!

See the progression below.

After a long wait for the custom window, I was finally able to complete this kitchen in Scarborough today.

This was a big undertaking involving removing walls, reframing window openings, moving outlets and light switches, getting creative with the flooring, and building a custom butcher block counter.

I always see how a project looks before any work is done. I'm there while the transformation occurs and, of course, I see the results. But I rarely get to see my work "lived in."

This is part of a kitchen I did in Scarborough. I'm back to wrap up another project, and I was just so happy to see the counters with the utensils and the oven with the towels. It reminds me that a project isn't just about the work, but also the home that is made more whole.

More pictures to come.

B&A of a bathroom in New Gloucester.

Took everything down to the studs. Updated the insulation in the exterior wall. Put in a new tub with a custom tiled shelving. New flooring, toilet, vanity.

Finished up with some new lighting, medicine cabinet, and redid the trim work.
