Meet Jen Blood. 👋
⚪Jen is the new Operations Manager for the Port of Lewiston. Jen is a civil engineer and has achieved her Professional Engineer designation following her degree from with a Civil Engineering degree. “The Operations Manager for the Port is involved in all aspects of the Port’s mission, from broadband to property development. I’m excited to be able to bring my training and experience to a place with such a diverse range of opportunities".⚪
A big piece of Jen’s job will be to lead the Port’s broadband program. The Port has been active in building a broadband network within the Port District since 2015. The new challenge will involve building a 95-mile middle-mile fiber optic open-access backbone that will stretch from Moscow to Lewiston to Grangeville. 📶
Jen is excited to lead this new chapter in the Port’s broadband story.☀
Jen enjoys spending time with her husband and 5 sons and their families, especially in the outdoors. She likes to camp and ride side-by-side, create cool crafts, and spend every possible moment with the grandkids.🌲
