Garbutt Surfboards

Each board I make is drawn from inspirations I get from looking at designs from the past. I believe that the key to future surfboard designs lies in the boards that preceded them. Unlike some shapers I only shape boards that I personally ride and have a good understanding for. This ensures that I can stand by each shape I make for someone, which is something that every shaper should be able to do. Most importantly I do it to have fun and experiment, which is what keeps me stoked everyday!
