This home transformation was about creating a home that could better support the way this family lives today and for years to come.

One of the biggest challenges was functionality. The home's laundry was inconveniently located, so we transformed an upstairs bedroom into a spacious laundry room that makes everyday routines easier. To ensure the home didn't lose valuable living space, we finished the basement and created a private in-law suite complete with a bedroom, bathroom, and gathering space for family game nights, and overnight guests.

Throughout the rest of the home, we focused on improving both flow and comfort. We remodeled the mudroom and powder bath, updated two fireplaces, refreshed the stairways, replaced the front entry door, and added new lighting throughout the home to create a brighter, more welcoming atmosphere. We also replaced the existing 2¼-inch hardwood flooring with 5-inch planks and refinished them throughout the home, creating a cohesive foundation that connects every space.

From practical solutions to meaningful gathering spaces, every decision was made with this family's lifestyle in mind. The result is a home that functions better, feels more connected, and is ready to support this family for years to come.
