At Avila Registration Services, we help eligible customers take advantage of DMV exemptions that can reduce the cost of vehicle registration.

Active Duty Non-Resident Military
If you're an active duty service member stationed in California but your permanent residence is in another state, you may qualify for an exemption from the California Vehicle License Fee (VLF). We'll help you complete and submit a REG 5045 as part of your registration transaction.

California Tribal Members
If you're an enrolled California tribal member residing on a federally recognized reservation or rancheria, you may also qualify for a Vehicle License Fee exemption. Simply provide a completed REG 256A, including the required certification from an authorized tribal council member, and we'll take care of the rest.
