Recently, Hanford gathered to open a time capsule that had been waiting patiently for 50 years to be opened and shared. Inside were pieces of our community's past—treasured keepsakes, memories, and reminders of the people who helped shape the Hanford we know today.

🇺🇸🎆 What a night for Hanford! 🎆🇺🇸

Hanford Recreation and Community Services hosted the very first Hanford Freedom Fest, where nearly 4,000 people came together to celebrate the 250th birthday of America right here in our incredible small town. ❤️🤍💙

After years without a community fireworks celebration, it was amazing to see families, friends, and neighbors gather once again for an evening filled with patriotism and hometown pride. 🇺🇸

The festivities featured fantastic performances by In Kahootz, Travis Brooks, line dancing with Tammy, and concluded with an unforgettable fireworks show by Fireworks & Stage FX America 🎶🤠🎇

We're honored to capture and share this highlight reel and help preserve the memories of a celebration our community won't soon forget.
