Prosperity

Good morning all! Father, You own the cattle on a thousand hills, Your word declares the silver and the gold is all Yours. What do we have that hasn’t been provided by Your hand? You are the God of prosperity; the very words You speak contain the riches of heaven. You said Your seed would never beg for bread, may we truly live a prosperous life by Your plan, Amen



Isaiah 55



10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:



The soft rains and the hard snow from HEAVEN, the Lord sent both to accomplish His work in the earth, it will produce a crop so for us to eat and to plant.



11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper [in the thing] whereto I sent it.



The same for My words that have been spoken, they’re NOT empty but they will produce that which I have ordained and it will have a positive impact on the world.



12 For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap [their] hands.



You will share your joy with others and peace will pave the way, mountains and hills will eventually sing and ALL the trees will applaud.



13 Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign [that] shall not be cut off.



Instead of cutting down speak words of encouragement, instead of cursing choose to bless and the Lord will gladly accept this nature, these are NOT empty words they ETERNAL and can’t be stopped…this is PROSPERITY.





Bottom line – Okay, before we all get crazy and think we’re gonna win the lottery, you know God’s prosperity has nothing to do with money, right? Just look at the life of Jesus, he had to borrow a tomb just to be buried. God uses the symbolism of the earth to demonstrate His power in our life, and whatever God wants to do in our life…He’s going to do it. [Psa 115:3 KJV] But our God [is] in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased. Now God doesn’t do what He pleases without there being great purpose and without it actually succeeding. He sends the rain and the snow from heaven…divine purpose…the gentle times and the hard times in our life, they both produce PROSPERITY…this is what makes us rich. I hope you can see the connection between God’s creation in the earth and us. When we go out the door in the morning go with JOY and stay on the path of PEACE, and whether we face a MOUNTAIN…big issue or a HILL…smaller issue…SING!!! Don’t fight, don’t argue, don’t attack, don’t walk away…sing. What’s your life song? Mine is Journey’s “Faithfully”, you know why? Because I’m FOREVER yours, can’t shake me, can’t break me…doesn’t that sound like Jesus? Did you notice how many trees clap their hands? ALL!!! Listen, we will all face difficulties and challenges in this life. The question is will you be a faithful tree and applaud for others? Will you cheer them on and help see them through the mountains and the hills? [1Sa 14:7 NLT] Do what you think is best," the armor bearer replied. "I'm with you completely, whatever you decide." Jonathan’s armor bearer helped him scale a mountain and when they got to the top, they defeated the enemy, do you know who they defeated? Selfishness, doubt, worry, uncertainty, big problems, little problems. Notice the armor bearer didn’t say I’m with you COMPLETELY only if I agree with you…nope…WHATEVER you decide. Are you the Lord’s armor bearer? Do you have what’s needed to get the victory? [1Th 5:8 NIV] But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet. We have to be sober, we can’t be intoxicated with selfish thoughts, or we’ll never help anyone over their mountain. Do you belong to the day? The Lord’s Day, which one is that? Well guess it just depends on how many we’re willing to give Him? News flash, He’ll trade your Sunday for your Monday through Saturday-Ha! When our heart is covered in faith and love we can defeat any enemy we face. And remember we never have to face uncertainty because our heads have a helmet of HOPE…believe we will conquer that mountain. Notice what the rain and the snow accomplished, NEW life. God changes the thorn bush into a Fir tree…we stop cutting people down with the words we speak, we encourage them, we say I’m with you completely and we can conquer this mountain. He changes the brier bush into a myrtle tree, perhaps the greatest transformation of all. [Zec 1:11 NLT] Then the other riders reported to the angel of the LORD, who was standing among the myrtle trees, "We have been patrolling the earth, and the whole earth is at peace. I pray no matter where you are in this life and where you go, be a Myrtle tree and bring peace to the WHOLE earth…not sure how much that would cost but safe to say it will require ALL your prosperity.





Point to Ponder – What is God’s plan for our life? [Jer 29:11 AMP] For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,' says the LORD, 'plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. If your plans don’t include PEACE…you got the wrong plans.

GOD OF PEACE

Good morning all! Father, when we face storms in this life we look to You alone for salvation. You speak and the winds must obey Your command, You are the One that leads us beside still waters. May we always walk in Your peace, a peace that passes all we know and comprehend, keep our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Amen.



Romans 16



17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.



I urge you, my dear brothers and sisters. Watch out for people who cause divisions and look to offend others which contradict the life of faith, avoid that lifestyle.



18 For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.



Such people are not serving Christ our Lord; they are serving their own personal interests. By smooth talk and hollow words, they deceive innocent people.



19 For your obedience is come abroad unto all [men]. I am glad therefore on your behalf: but yet I would have you wise unto that which is good, and simple concerning evil.



But everyone knows that your obedience to the faith touches ALL men. What you do brings me joy: but I want you to be wise in doing right and to stay innocent of any wrong.



20 And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [be] with you. Amen.



The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. May the grace of our Lord Jesus be with you. So be it!





Bottom line – Is Satan under your feet this morning? Why our feet? The feet represent our lifestyle, Jesus said you worship me with your lips, but your heart is far from me…we say one thing but do another. God’s not interested with our words or so-called beliefs if we don’t actually live by them. How do we BRUISE Satan? A hammer? Our words? FEET…no words are necessary; living a life of faith is all that is needed to bruise him. Why bruise and not kill? I see Satan as man’s EGO; it has to be bruised for peace to have preeminence in our life. Think about it, our ego is not looking to be humble, it’s never in a hurry to forgive, it’s not interested in taking a backseat to others, it will never serve Christ. Our ego fills our belly NOT God’s kingdom, our ego lies to us it tells us we’re better than others, it tells us we deserve more than others. And the biggest lie is when it says God isn’t really talking to me, it’s the other guy…news flash, NO such thing as the other guy. [Col 3:11 KJV] Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond [nor] free: but Christ [is] all, and in all. Your ego is the one causing separation, it decides who’s who, you know? Sinner or saint, Christian or heathen, good or evil, you get the picture. You know what happens when you bruise my ego? [Eph 4:26-27 NIV] In your anger do not sin": Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold. That’s right I get ANGRY with you but notice that’s NOT the sin, it becomes sin if I give the Devil a FOOTHOLD…I look to attack and retaliate. Did you know Satan has his own church? [Rev 2:9 AMP] I know your suffering and your poverty (but you are rich), and how you are blasphemed and slandered by those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan [they are Jews only by blood, and do not believe and truly honor the God whom they claim to worship]. You know how they worship in the church of Satan? They SLANDER people, the speak words that injure and reject others, they do NOT honor God. Notice it says they’re a Jew…Christian…but are NOT, they have instead made a home for Satan…if you listen to it, you worship it. If God is a God of peace, when would He ever approve of slander? Division? Rejection? I mean isn’t that the very reason Jesus walked this earth? [Isa 9:7 NKJV] Of the increase of [His] government and peace [There will be] no end. His government…that which governs and gives rule to our life…FAITH and what is the evidence of His government? PEACE, did you see how long it last? NO end!! Do you remember when Jesus gave His sermon on the mount? Do you remember who He called the children of God? PEACEMAKERS! Hard to make peace while you’re holding onto a grudge, your pride, your anger. When do we crush all that? The verse says shortly…quickly…the faster we choose make peace with others the faster you’ll bruise Satan under your feet. God’s word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path…translation…the Beatles said it best…”Here comes the sun”.





Point to Ponder – Anyone remember the first thing God cursed and what happened? [Gen 3:15 KJV] And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. The serpent, his head will get bruised…ego crushed and bruise His heel…that’s what happens when you stomp on the head of a snake, one is fatal the other will cause you to walk tenderly.

TRUE HEART

Good morning all! Father, your word declares You will turn the hearts children back to the Father. We know Your heart can only be for us, to protect us, to provide for us, to teach us and to change us. Change us Lord, make us more like you, with Your heart so we might make You proud, Amen.



Hebrews 13



5 [Let your] conversation be without covetousness; [and be] content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.



Don't waste your life wanting MORE; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, I’m your everything and always will be.



6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord [is] my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.



So we can live with all confidence and let our life reflect the truth that the LORD is My help and our dependance is NOT in man.



7 Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of [their] conversation. \



Remember your leaders who taught you the word of God. Think of all the good that has come from their lives, and follow the example of their faith.



8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.



For Christ in you is timeless, priceless and fearless ALWAYS.



9 Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For [it is] a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.



So do not be attracted by flashy and strange ideas. Your strength comes from God's grace, not from a set of religious rules which don't help those who follow them.





Bottom line – This is such an encouraging passage for us today, the author wants us to know the heart that God has given each of us. It’s so easy to become discouraged in heart based on what we have or don’t have but that’s not really the reflection of our true heart. This why the author says DON’T be carried away…translation…don’t get carried away by what the world is chasing, that’s NOT going to bring your true joy or peace. What will? GRACE!!! The whole world thinks more is better so they consequently they want more, more of what? It don’t matter, when you feel you don’t have everything you want then you live a life that’s never satisfied, we live a life thinking we have a void. Don’t let your CONVERSATION…your lifestyle…be WITHOUT covetousness…believing that something is missing. Why do you think right after that statement God tells us HE will never leave us or let us down? TRANSALTION…there is never anything wrong with your life, you have God. Who will help us through this this life? Our HELPER, God. [Psa 12:1 NIV] For the director of music. According to sheminith. A psalm of David. Help, LORD, for no one is faithful anymore; those who are loyal have vanished from the human race. This one of my favorite Psalms, the prayer is literally 2 words…Help, Lord! I mean seriously who can’t remember that one? Have you ever found yourself in a situation that nobody in your life was loyal to you? Like you wake up one morning and they vanished? I believe God placed David in that situation to teach him how to pray this prayer, there was only one thing left to say and only one person to say it to…Help, Lord! As we mature in our relationship with God we increase in our understanding and truly trust that God will help us, so to covet anything else but Him is a waste of time. Now if you’re like me because we can’t SEE God we sometimes forget that He is with us through all we face in life but notice His words to encourage us…remember those that have rule over you…the people in your life that influence and shape your life, FOLLOW their faith. Who has influenced your life by faith? For me that’s easy my parents, my family, my friends, there too many to mention. Notice God didn’t say remember everyone, He said remember those that follow faith and NEVER stop pursuing faith until their END. I like that verse because it actually is a great example of winning in life, and what the TRUE goal line is…FAITH. When you and I live by faith we know that we chase God, chase faith all the way to the END. Have you reached the end of our rope? I hope you do because that’s when you’re NEW life begins, the one that will only pursue God. [Mat 28:20 KJV] Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen. Your world will end according to scripture but your life with Christ has NO, He is and always will be the SAME yesterday, today and forever…your TRUE heart!





Point to Ponder – Is your heart true? [Heb 10:22 NLT] Let us go right into the presence of God with true hearts fully trusting him. For our guilty consciences have been sprinkled with Christ's blood to make us clean, and our bodies have been washed with pure water. A true heart will NOT hesitate to find God’s presence in their life, and why not? He removes all guilt and shame!
