Big news for rural healthcare communities.

The Civica Foundation has received a $3.2 million grant from The Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust to help launch a new program focused on protecting rural hospitals from ongoing drug shortages.

For many rural hospitals, shortages of essential medications aren’t just a supply issue - they directly impact patient care

Through the new Civica Rural Hospital Program, eligible hospitals in nine states can join Civica with no membership cost or annual commitments - helping expand access to critical medicines and strengthen supply reliability.
