A Place To Be
A Place To Be is a nationally recognized, award-winning therapeutic arts organization creating community, belonging, and hope through music therapy, performance, and the expressive arts. Here at A Place To Be, we use music therapy to promote health outcomes for everyone, including neurodiverse, disabled, and marginalized individuals through individual therapy and community programming.
“One thing I like about A Place To Be is how accepting it is…how anyone can feel seen and accepted for being their authentic self”
With the incredible support of our community of donors, grantors, and parents, A Place To Be provided direct music therapy services to over 250 families this past year. Through this expansion of services, we have maintained our commitment to never turning a family away, with nearly 40% of these families receiving some form of financial aid.
Our programming is enabled through the generous grants and donations from our local community. Our supporters understand the healing value of community, belonging, and hope, and keeping it in reach of everyone regardless of disability.
If you’re interested in supporting our mission, growth, and keeping the arts accessible to all, A Place To Be would like to hear from you. Visit us online at www.aplacetobeva.org or reach out to via socials or at [email protected]
