This afternoon Engine 14 was dispatched to Palmyra for a reported structure fire. Engine 14 responded with 3. Chief 1 arrived on the scene and confirmed a working fire. Engine 14 arrived on the scene and assisted with overhaul. Crews were out for alittle over an hour before being released by command 1

⛈️ Severe storms are moving through our area. Please take a few moments to prepare and stay safe.

Here are a few reminders:
⚡ If you hear thunder, head indoors.
🌳 Stay away from downed trees and never approach downed power lines—always assume they’re energized.
🚗 If you encounter a flooded roadway, Turn Around, Don’t Drown. It only takes a small amount of moving water to carry away a vehicle.
🔦 Keep flashlights charged and your cell phone powered up in case of outages.
🚨 If you have to be on the road, slow down and give emergency crews plenty of room to work.

If an emergency happens, don’t hesitate to call 911.

Engine and Tanker 14 returned a short time ago from North Annville Township for a field fire. Both units responded 3 mins after dispatched and arrived to assist company 67 and mutual units with a field fire. Crews were out for about 30 mins before returning available.
