In Lebanon County, IU 13 partners with its six school districts to provide young children with the early literacy skills they need to succeed. Early Head Start is a federally funded community-based program for low-income pregnant women and families with infants and toddlers. Its mission is to enhance the development of very young children, and to promote healthy family functioning.
