Bridge Riding for the Disabled

Bridge Riding for the Disabled

Bridge serves people with physical, cognitive and / or sensory disabilities. We take a creative and fun approach that allows students to really enjoy their horse experience. Each lesson is specifically tailored to the individual student. All students must have a physician's consent and program evaluation. Bridge students work with Haflinger horses, Clydesdales, a Quarter Horse and a German Riding Pony. Riders are matched to horses depending on size, mobility needs and availability of volunteers.

Bridge Ride a thon is a celebration of our students successes. All were awarded ribbons and medallions to celebrate!

After all kiddos demonstrated their therapeutic horsemanship skills, we brought in pizzas, chips, iced drinks and cake! All the major food groups! Thanks so much to all of our volunteers for helping our students.
