Bagdad Elementary

d Bagdad school! Realizing that Leander ISD's 9th elementary campus was being built within a quarter mile of the old Bagdad community, the LISD Board of Trustees named the campus to honor a community of early Central Texans who placed the education of their children as their highest priority. Hence, a new state-of-the-art Bagdad Elementary opened in the fall of 1999 to serve a new generation of Leander ISD students. The staff and students of Bagdad Elementary School are proud to carry forward a piece of local history, as well as the tradition of excellence and commitment to education associated with the Bagdad name.
