The Texas Bullion Depository Bill was signed into law by Governor Greg Abbott on June 12, 2015, officially establishing the first ever state-administered precious metals bullion depository.

The United States Mint's Woodrow Wilson presidential silver medal honors the 28th President of the United States who served from 1913 to 1921. It is one troy ounce of 99.9% fine silver with the obverse depicting a bust of Woodrow Wilson and the reverse featuring an eagle with spread wings holding branches of olive and oak in front of the U.S. Capitol.

Originally, the term "hallmark" was used to name the mark of excellence that came from the Goldsmiths' Hall in London, which had a charter to grant a unique mark of approval.
