I obtained my undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Human Development and Family Sciences from The Ohio State University (GO BUCKS!). I received my graduate degree in Speech-Language pathology at The University of Toledo. I am certified in Sensory Strategies for SLPs (Inside Out by Jessie Ginsburg) and trained in TLC Lively Letters.. I received the Award for Continuing Education (ACE) award from ASHA. My experience includes working in pediatrics in both a clinical and private school setting where I treated speech sound disorders, expressive and receptive language disorders, pragmatic language disorders, fluency disorders and phonological awareness. I also have experience working with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems and obtaining devices through funding reports. Since 2017, I have worked with Autistic children and their families. In one of my clinical experiences, I even served on a team who completed diagnostic evaluations to determine an Autism diagnosis. These experiences have helped me grow and learn to treat the unique needs of my autistic clients. I love celebrating their milestones and budding personalities.
