Meet our coach!

Jason Merjano is a new resident to Fontana, relocating from North Hollywood. Jason spent his collegiate time at Cal State Monterey Bay, where he was the starting shortstop. As his career advanced, he transitioned into a utility player, learning the outfield and third base position, playing overseas and for the US professional independent league. Along with being a team captain, Jason received numerous defensive and hitting awards over the years.

Jason has a vast coaching experience, working with academies, as well as high school and college teams. He started with the IE Wolfpack in October of 2020, and has made an impact on the team, by teaching not only the physical part of the game, but most importantly the mental. Along with knowledge of key drills and exercises, he can get into the mind of our developing players to see the game through the eyes of a professional ball player.
