I just downloaded my digital copy of NYG&B's "New York State Archives Guide" by Jane E. Wilcox, FGBS. I am in awe of Jane's work. This publication is a must-have for New York State researchers!!

I would have liked to have met this clerk in 1823!

My article on "Becoming a Professional Genealogist" was published as the cover article in the most recent issue of the Association for Professional Genealogists Quarterly (Sept 2022). I'm grateful for the opportunity to work with APGQ editor, Julie Cahill Tarr and excited my work is featured in the same issue as articles by Bryna O'Sullivan, Carla S. Cegielski, Cyndi Ingle, Drew Smith, and Julie Cahill Tarr -- genealogists whose work I admire.
