Watch out for scams

It's that time of year for income tax scams. Remember, the IRS does NOT call people. If you get a call from someone saying they are from the IRS, it is a scam. Give no information and hang up. The IRS has many ways to collect from people who owe. Calling and law suits are not the way they do it.
I also got word that they are trying the same thing view email. Don't fall for it.
IF you truely do owe the IRS money, they will send you a letter. They will not call you or email you. If you do get a letter from the IRS, take it to your tax preparer first. The IRS is wrong most of the time.
