This past Sunday, I had the honor of hosting “Mothers on Purpose: Blooming Above the Balance” mixer. 🌸

This one was special. This event was for a group of moms who had lost children to gun violence and we got to honor them, hold space for them, and simply be present with them. We also had community partners in the room who appreciate this work, support this work, and are committed to providing real resources.

As a certified grief coach and grief specialist, I have the privilege of walking people through all types of loss. With June being Gun Violence Awareness Month, I couldn’t think of a more meaningful way to close out the month than honoring these mothers. Every one of them carrying a grief that is sudden, often public, and rarely given the space it deserves to be processed.

It was extremely beautiful, and I’m always humble for any opportunity to serve.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month and we’re not scrolling past it. 💛

Did you know 1 in 5 people experience a mental health condition. That means someone in your circle, your family, your workplace is carrying something right now that you may not even know about.

This month and every month let’s practice empathy. Let’s give grace. Let’s slow down before we react, judge, or assume.
Because you never know what someone is walking through behind closed doors.

Grief. Loss. Burnout. Anxiety. Depression. Loneliness. Exhaustion. It doesn’t always look like what we expect. Sometimes it looks like someone who seems “fine.”

If you or someone you know is in crisis — call or text 988. Help is available 24/7. 💙
You are not alone. 💛

I’m still not over this past Sunday’s Tea Talk 💕💕

From the moment I walked into the space, I knew it was going to be special. The energy, the details, the intention behind it all you could feel it.

I have so many amazing things I could say, but I want to start by giving the host her flowers 🌸
is so intentional in everything she does from the way she curates the space to the relationships she builds. She is truly rooted in community and sisterhood, and I’m so grateful to call her mine.

The event itself? A 10/10.
Not one of those spaces where people just show up and stand around. People were connecting, pouring into each other, and being present.

As a panelist, I felt honored to share space with some incredible women doing meaningful work.

And listen that spinach dip? Chef’s kiss 😭 I need the recipe.

But more than anything, this reminded me why I believe so deeply in healing happening in community.
There’s something powerful about being in rooms like this where relationships are formed, stories are shared, and growth happens in real time.
