A month ago, Laredo College Global Leadership students set out on an adventure across Spain and discovered new perspectives shaped by history and culture.
As part of the experience, our students walked through Córdoba’s winding streets and visited the Mezquita-Catedral, a landmark known for its blend of Islamic and Christian architecture. In Granada, they explored the Albaicín neighborhood and the Alhambra, the hilltop palace and fortress that stands as one of Spain’s most recognized historic treasures.
In Málaga, students reached the Mediterranean coast and visited the Picasso Museum, dedicated to the life and work of one of Spain’s most influential artists. The trip concluded in Madrid, where they experienced major cultural landmarks including the Museo del Prado and the Royal Palace, along with a visit to Impact Hub Madrid, a collaborative space that supports entrepreneurs and sustainable businesses, offering a look at how innovation and community can grow together.
