Laredoan breaks ground in Cancer Research! Meet Pablo Guzman, a senior at Hector J. Garcia Early College High School. He developed a new composite material with incredible potential for cancer treatment, already making a huge impact! His work is set to be published by the American Chemical Society!!

Driven by his personal connection to cancer in his family, Pablo is not just making discoveries—he’s also mentoring the next generation of scientists through his own program.

When he’s not in the lab, he leads his school’s robotics team and is an active member of the National Honor Society. With plans to attend Texas A&M University this fall to pursue a degree in Chemistry, Pablo’s future is looking brighter than ever! ✨
