We had a full-circle moment this week at our alma mater, Laredo College.

We were honored to speak with culinary arts students about the importance of sourcing fresh, local ingredients and how supporting local farms helps strengthen our community and food system.

Even more special? Seeing our microgreens featured in their beautiful Valentine’s luncheon. The creativity, talent, and passion these students bring to the kitchen is inspiring, and it gives us so much hope for the future of food in South Texas.

Thank you to Laredo College and the Culinary Arts Program for the invitation and for supporting local agriculture. Opportunities like this remind us why we do what we do.

🌱 Farm to School Milestone 🌱
We’re so excited to share that we just made our first school delivery — to San Isidro High School in the South Texas Valley, and the students loved our sunflower microgreens! 🎉

This is something we have been working on for over a year and it's such a special milestone for us during October’s Farm to School Month, a time to celebrate connecting kids with fresh, local food and the farmers who grow it. 👨🏻‍🌾👩🏻‍🌾

We believe every student deserves access to nutritious, locally grown superfoods — and we’re proud to play a small part in making that happen. 💚

Our hope is to bring our farm-fresh microgreens and sprouts to more schools in South Texas soon — including right here in Laredo!
