Stephanie Lewandowski - Fit Balance

in our beautiful state of Michigan. I was diagnosed with celiac disease in 1997...way before gluten free was 'cool'. At 33 I became both a mom and a young widow. And at 37 I remarried a wonderful man that I met on the internet. Who knew?? Fitness and nutrition has definitely shaped my life in the past few years. Now that I'm in my 50s, I am working on keeping my focus on health rather than on the scale. I follow an overall healthy nutrition plan and stay away from fad diets. But, of course, because of my celiac disease must follow a 100% gluten free diet. This is a medical necessity for people with celiac. It is not a choice. My dreams have goals have also taken me in a slightly different direction these past few years. Finding space and quiet in a world of chaos can be tough but it can heal us mentally and physically.
