The Lansing Fire Department would like to extend our deepest thank you to the Clinton County Sheriff’s office for inviting us to be honored at their 2025 awards ceremony last night. LFD was recognized alongside several other departments for our efforts during the Wacousta Mass Casualty Incident in May of 2024. Our prayers and deepest condolences go out to those affected on the fateful day and also to the Lansing Township Fire Department who lost one of their own as a result of the incident. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as well as FF Esch’s family.

Lansing Residents! We have some severe weather coming to our area this evening make sure you take proper precautions so that you can stay safe during the storm! Winds up to 60 mph and quarter sized hail are possible this evening so make sure any loose or fragile outside items are secured. Please remember to avoid all downed power lines and if you do see one, call 911 to report it. Also make sure that phones, tablets and flashlights have adequate battery power in case power is lost. Stay safe Lansing!
