When it's this cold, you need all your people's help just to make it through. ❄️☃️😬. I should tell you there's also a heating pad under my belly. Mom doesn't miss a beat.

I was seeking God's will as to the direction of my life in 2026. On 12-11 I pulled a card from an antique Bible verses and sayings and drew this one. I wrote it down and hung it in my kitchen. This morning I had the thought to ask again and I pulled the same card probably from a stack of 250 cards. Well, you can calculate the odds of that happening or believe God was saying, "I told you the first time...". And so Max and I will continue to spread love and joy to our elderly where doors open for us. The other card I picked on 12-11 read, "Great Advocate! Almighty friend. On thee do all our hopes depend. Our cause can never, never fail. Thou dost plead and must prevail.". Happy Sunday!

Where's the Christmas tree? It's been here for over a month. I'm protesting its demise. I'm breaking into song in its honor ... "O Christmas tree, o Christmas tree, how lovely your branches...". Bah humbug!
