The American Friends Service Committee developed the Eyes Wide Open exhibit in 2004 to remind ourselves of the overwhelming human cost of war in Iraq. In 2007 as the number of deaths mounted, this national Eyes Wide Open exhibit was divided into an exhibit for each state. The Red Cedar Friends Meeting houses the Michigan portion of the American Friends Service Committee's Eyes Wide Open exhibit.
