Tri-County Office on Aging
We connect people who need help to service providers, volunteers, donors, businesses, and governments throughout the counties of Clinton, Ingham, and Eaton. TCOA provides Information and Assistance, Medicare Medicaid Assistance Program, Project Choices, Meals on Wheels, and many other services for the community. Many services are provided at no or low-cost or have fees based on a sliding scale. TCOA lobby hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM.

🌡⚠With a heatwave on it's way, it's important to know how to stay safe in extreme temperatures. (Older adults are especially suspectable to heat exhaustion and heat stroke!)
Follow these steps to say safe in the coming days:
âś… Find somewhere air conditioned (like a library or a mall).
âś… Drink plenty of fluids to stay hydrated.
âś… Wear loose, lightweight, or light-colored clothing.
âś… Avoid high energy activities during the midday heat and stay in the shade.

Are you already a TCOA volunteer? Thinking about becoming one? Maybe you'd like to give back but don't want to get started alone.
✨ Sign up with a friend! ✨
Many TCOA volunteers serve alongside family members and friends—delivering Meals on Wheels routes together, helping at Dining Sites, or teaming up to sell raffle tickets at fundraising events. Volunteering is rewarding on its own, but it's even better when you can share the experience with someone else.
Please note: all volunteers must be approved by our Volunteer Specialist. For most applicants, the first step is completing the volunteer application on our website.
