When I was an anarchist, as a metal-head teenager... we didn't compromise and we didn't take crap from anyone... and we didn't accept any "posers." We said what we meant and we meant what we said.... We gave polite society and all their hypocrisy the middle finger. As a Christian metal-head, I'm fed up with the "posers" that are hanging around in the pulpits of churches today. It's time to put on self sacrifice, long-suffering, patience, kindness... and looking out for "The little guy" next door... as a hardline way of heavy metal, Christian life. All those out to make yourselves better and richer at the expense of others..... go start a self-help club or something, cuz that ain't what living the Christian life is all about. I look around and it seems like hardly anybody cares about reaching out to hurting people anymore... A bunch of posers too busy filling themselves and living in the lap of luxury, to take the time to care for the lonely, hurting souls at their gate. My heart is heavy, so I play this heavy music. This world sucks .............but I'm gonna keep biding my time... livin' on ramen noodles and spam until Jesus comes back.... and then all of us losers are gonna party in the Kingdom of Heaven and be filled to our gills. Wanna come along?

I want to say to my soul "My friend, where have you been?"
Just be released from this cold, dark metal pen.
I want to open my eyes and see places of peace and tranquillity, find my abilities...
and just be me.
