Capital Area Humane Society

receives no tax dollars or government funding and relies on the generosity of donors to help us provide love, food, shelter, and medical care to homeless and abandoned pets. We are a local, private, and independent animal welfare organization founded in Lansing in 1936 and all donations and gifts directed to the CAHS are used to assist the animals in the greater Lansing community. • If you use multiple logins for the purpose of disrupting the community or annoying other users, you may have action taken against you
• Please refrain from posting requests for financial assistance on your personal owned pets. We aim to keep discussion within our online communities focused on joining together to save homeless pets, so rescue-driven fundraisers for CAHS are fine. We will remove content and messages which do not follow the above guidelines.
