We said goodbye last week to four members of the MNA board - Carolyn Bloodworth, Kyle Caldwell, Todd Culver, and Paul Long- who have completed their terms. We are deeply grateful for their years of service, leadership, and commitment to MNA. Board service is at the heart of strong nonprofits. It takes time, care, and a willingness to lead behind the scenes, and our organization and community are stronger because of people who step up in this way.

We thank Carolyn, Kyle, Todd, and Paul for all they’ve contributed and for helping shape MNA’s impact!

Heads up! MNA will be closed for our annual summer break from July 1 to July 7, 2026. Our team takes this time each year to rest and recharge. Stepping away from the work helps prevent burnout and keeps our communities strong.

We’ll be back on July 8 and excited to get started on some new things for our members, including our new MNA Member Health Plan (MMHP).

Have questions about the plan? Send us a message: [email protected]

Don’t worry, our website will still be available 24/7 while we’re away.

"MNA's compensation & benefits survey closes in just a few days, and I’ve officially moved from gentle asking to full-on professional begging. 🐶 If you haven’t started yet, please take a few minutes and help us out.

And if you already signed up… this is your reminder to go back and finish it. (I’ll be watching. 👀)"

Happy ! This month is a chance to celebrate, reflect, and stand up for inclusion. As Brian Hercliff-Proffer, MNA’s Community Impact Director, puts it, Pride is about lifting up LGBTQ+ voices and making sure everyone feels like they belong.

We know the world around us, from public debates to changing guidance, can affect how safe and supported people feel.

We’re proud to stand in community -- creating spaces where people feel welcome, supported, and seen. 🌈
