Just so you know… Worship Without Words is a Community-Based Liturgical Praise Dance Group that was founded by Heather Taylor in 2007. The group was created with a vision to cultivate the talent of young woman of all ages, faiths and creeds. The objective is to develop spiritual ministries of dance that speaks to the community. WWW is a faith based vehicle used to inspire, unite and mentor the expression of healing and hope through the words of Song. The overall aim of this ministry is to transform physical expression of dance into a spiritual experience so that people are lifted up and inspired internally! This group is made up of young members from several local area churches and organizations. WWW Praise Dance Ministry is also an extension of the African Masquerade Dancers aka (AMD). AMD is a traditional African youth dance group that was also founded by Heather Taylor in 1995. A family orientated group that provided culture awareness to the community through creative dance “Edu-tainment”. Mama Lee Taylor, who is also a member of the Sister-City Program is the groups Historical Presentator. She has traveled the world extensively. She provides the audience with a compelling birds-eye view on African-American studies and connects it with today’s current events. She is also the founder of the "Brand New Me Workshops". A community group developed in the 1980's that recruited youth and trained them with life skills. BNM Workshops is the 501(c)(3) organization umbrella and the catalyst for AMD and WWW starting points. The vision for Worship Without Words is to learn more, to develop and enhance our spiritual skills, interpret songs of faith, bring forth our glorification of Faith and engage the audience. We use expressive diverse movements, mime, sign and some traditional African dance to accomplish this. We enforce Faith, Order, Responsibility, Respect, Communication, Unity and Truth.
