The Big Lie Project recognizes the importance of recording this moment in history to ensure that the American people remember the Capitol insurrection and hold accountable those responsible for inciting it. Turner Ralph Gingery Brion Levitsky Martha Mayes reminded us of the value of our mission to tell the truth about the January 6th riot, what happened, why it matters, and how each of us can do our part to ensure it doesn’t happen again.

Our goal is to document a critical moment in American history through an episodic series of short films that express the despair, fear, and horror of the January 6th riot on the U.S. Capitol.

With your support, our team will create a series of short films that together, tell the story behind January 6th, 2021. If we can reach our funding goals, we will release each episode, just like a television show series.
